SIGN CODE

Sec. 5-20 Adopted; amendments.

(a) Adoption. The Uniform Sign Code, 1991 Edition, and all appendices thereto, as published by the International Conference of Building Officials, is hereby adopted by the common council for the purpose of providing minimum standards to safeguard life, health, property and public welfare by regulating and controlling the design, quality of materials, construction, location, electrification and maintenance of all signs and sign structures not located within a building. Three (3) copies of this code are on file in the office of the city clerk.

(b) Amendments. Section 303-3 of the Uniform Sign Code is deleted.
