12-13-1 Purpose of Registration

The purpose of registration under this Article is to:

1.    Provide the Town with accurate and current information concerning the telecommunications carriers and providers who offer or provide telecommunications services within the Town, or that own or operate telecommunication facilities within the Town.

2.    Assist the town in enforcement of this Title.

3.    Assist the Town in the collection and enforcement of any municipal taxes, franchise fees, license fees or charges that may be due the Town.

4.    Assist the Town in monitoring compliance with local, State and Federal laws.
