a. Private residences.

b. Bars, pool halls and bowling alleys.

c. Hotel and motel rooms rented to guests.

d. Retail stores that deal exclusively in the sale of tobacco products and smoking paraphernalia.

e. On-stage smoking as part of a stage production, ballet or similar exhibition.

f. Hotel and motel and all other public and private conference/meeting rooms while these places are being used exclusively for private functions.

g. A private residence which may serve as an office work place.

h. Private clubs and recreation facilities.

i. Public areas of restaurants or food courts that conspicuously post a notice at each entrance that the restaurant or food court does not provide non-smoking areas in accordance with this article. The color of such signs, when not of the international type, shall be distinct and contrasting to the background and easily read. Letters shall have a minimum height of five-eighths inch.
