CHAPTER 1—LAND USE AND DEVELOPMENT GUIDE

Sec. 9000 Land Use and Development Guide. (Ord. No. 913, eff. 1/19/1979; Ord. 1273, eff. 9/19/1997)

The provisions of the Land Use and Development Guide, as adopted by the City Council of the City of Arcata by Ordinance 884, adopted on December 1, 1976, and all revisions, supplements and amendments heretofore and hereafter adopted by the City Council are hereby adopted and the Land Use and Development Guide is adopted as a whole.

Sec. 9001 Deposit of copies.

One copy of the Land Use and Development Guide shall be filed, for use and examination by the public, in the office of the City Clerk.

Sec. 9002 Violations as infractions. (Ord. 1273, eff. 9/19/1997)

Any person, firm or corporation, whether as principal, agent, employee or otherwise, violating any provisions of this Title shall be guilty of an infraction and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by (1) a fine of not more than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for a first violation; (2) a fine not exceeding Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for a second violation of the same provision with one (1) year; (3) a fine not exceeding Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each additional violation of the same provision within one year. Such person, firm or corporation, shall be deemed to be guilty of a separate offense for each and every day during any portion of which any violation of this Title is committed, continued or permitted by such person, firm or corporation, and shall be punishable as herein provided.
