70.60.010 Code adopted.

The 2010 California Energy Code (2010 CENC), California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 6, as published by the California Building Standards Commission, and any rules and regulations promulgated pursuant thereto be and the same is hereby adopted as the Energy Code of the City of Coronado, California. 70.60.020 Purpose.

The purpose of the 2010 CENC is to provide for the inclusion of energy conservation measures in construction projects within this jurisdiction. (Ord. 2018 § 2 (Att. A), 2010)

70.60.030 Scope.

The scope of this chapter shall be as delineated in Section 100 of the 2010 CENC. (Ord. 2018 § 2 (Att. A), 2010)

70.60.040 Appendices.

None of the appendices to the 2010 CENC are adopted by this jurisdiction. (Ord. 2018 § 2 (Att. A), 2010)

70.60.050 Modifications.

The City Council hereby expressly finds that modifications, revisions, additions, deletions and other changes to the 2010 CENC as adopted may be required for effective administration of the 2007 CENC in this jurisdiction.

Modifications, revisions, additions, deletions and other changes to the 2010 CENC shall be accomplished by ordinance amendment as initiated by the Community Development Department staff and adopted by the City Council. (Ord. 2018 § 2 (Att. A), 2010)
