1.20.010 Adoption of bail schedule.

From time to time, the city council shall adopt a resolution setting forth the amount of bail to be established for and imposed upon the violation of designated provisions of the Half Moon Bay Municipal Code.  That resolution and any amendments to it shall be referred to as the “Bail Schedule of the City of Half Moon Bay.”  Upon the second violation of any such provision by the same individual within a six-month period of the first violation, the bail amount shall be double the amount specified.  Upon the third or more violation of any such provision within twelve months of the first violation, the bail amount shall be quadruple the amount specified.  Only Title 10 vehicle and traffic section violations will be exempt from the bail doubling provision of this chapter.  (Ord. 10-98 §1, 1998:  Ord. 20-91 §1, 1991:  Ord. 17-91 §1, 1991; Ord. 11-89 §2, 1989; Ord. 16-88 §2, 1988; Ord. 4-81).
