15.60.010 Adoption.

A. Pursuant to Sections 50022.1 through 50022.10, inclusive, of the Government Code, the city council adopts and enacts as the existing building code of the city the 2010 Existing Building Code, California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 10, based on the 2009 International Existing Building Code published by the International Code Council.

B. One copy of the CEBC is on file with the building division for use and examination by the public, along with changes, additions and deletions relating to sections of the CEBC as set forth in this chapter. 15.60.020 Violation – Penalty.

A violation of any provision under this chapter is punishable as a misdemeanor and upon conviction may be punished by a fine of not more than $1,000 or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than six months, or both. [Ord. 10-1337 § 1, 2010; Ord. 08-1307 § 1, 2008; Ord. 1176 § 26, 2000.]
