17.54.010 Enforcement by City office.

The City Council, the City Attorney, the City Manager, the Police Chief, the Building Official, the Development Services Director, the City Clerk, and all officials charged with the issuance of licenses or permits, shall enforce the provisions of this title. Any permit, certificate, or license issued in conflict with the provisions of this title shall be void. (Ord. 518, 1999; Ord. 113 § 1 (Exh. A 1.6(A)), 1983)

17.54.020 Actions deemed nuisance.

Any building or structure erected hereafter, or any use of property contrary to the provisions of a duly approved development permit, minor development review, variance, conditional use permit, or administrative permit, and/or this title is unlawful and a public nuisance per se and subject to abatement in accordance with local ordinance. 17.54.030 Remedies.

All remedies concerning this title shall be cumulative and not exclusive. The conviction and punishment of any person under this title shall not relieve such persons from the responsibility of correcting prohibited conditions or removing prohibited buildings, structures, signs, or improvements, and shall not prevent the enforced correction or removal thereof. 17.54.040 Violation – Penalty.

Any person, partnership, organization, firm or corporation, whether as principal, agent, employee or otherwise, violating any provisions of this title or violating or failing to comply with any order to regulation made under this title, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable as provided by Chapter 1.08 PMC.
