2.35.010 Organization generally – Director of Public Works.
The Department of Public Works Administration shall be under the immediate supervision of the Director of Public Works who shall be in the unclassified service and shall be hereinafter referred to as Director of Public Works. The Director of Public Works shall supervise and be responsible for all engineering work, including, but not limited to, the preparation of engineering maps, surveys and designs. He/she shall also have executive and administrative direction and direct supervision of the Building Maintenance Department and Engineering Department, all under the supervision of the City Manager.
