Features and Options

Linking:
- To municipal code sections from digests and cross references.
- To state code citations.
- To ordinances hosted on municipal web site or Code Publishing. See also OrdSearch below.
Printing and Saving:
- Print Doc: Print pages in a clean format.
- Print Selections: Use check boxes to choose one or more sections, chapters, and/or titles to print.
- Save as RTF: Use check boxes to choose one or more sections, chapters, and/or titles to save in RTF (Word/WordPerfect) format.
- Title PDFs: Save and print titles as they appear in the printed volume.
Searching:
- Advanced Search Options: Use boolean searching, refine the search with stemming, phonic searching, etc. (See "Advanced Options" under Advanced Search tab.)
- Scope Searching: Restrict a search to specific titles or documents. (See "Scope Search" under Advanced Search tab)
- Saved Searches: Save a search, including advanced options. (See "Save to My Searches" under Advanced Search tab.)
Tracking ordinances and updates:
- CodeTrak: Highlight recently updated sections (see Title 13).
- OrdAlert: Highlight sections amended by ordinances not codified yet. (see Titles 2 and 3).
- OrdSearch: One click delivers search results for a single ordinance. (Click on an underlined ordinance in the Ordinance List.)
Viewing:
- NavBar
  - Bookmarks: Add a bookmark for the page you are viewing. Works best with IE.
  - Change Text Size: Click to adjust font size for better readability.
  - Custom Interface: The online code interface matches the customer's web site.
- TOC Frame
  - Collapsible TOC: Click on the plus/minus signs to expand or collapse the table of contents.
  - Hide TOC: Hide the table of contents while browsing the code.
  - Frameless Version: Essential for best viewing and quick navigation on iPads and smartphones, including Blackberries, Androids, and iPhones. Complies with ADA requirements.
  - Older versions of the code: Select a date to view the code as it appeared on that day. Previous versions of the code can be compared to the most up-to-date version as well (click on the "Compare" link).
- Other:
  - CodeTips: Hover cursor over chapter digest entries or section cites to display a popup box with a preview of the linked section.
  - Custom Table Headers: The table header stays viewable as the scrolling table moves.
  - Share: Links that provide easy sharing of a page through email and other social networking sites.
