2.04.010 Office created.

A.  There is created the office of municipal judge pro tempore, who shall act and serve as the municipal judge of the city in the absence or unavailability of the municipal judge.

B.  The municipal judge pro tempore shall be appointed by the mayor and city council of the city and shall serve for the term of office and for the amount of compensation as determined by the city council.  (Ord. 1955 §1, 1971)

2.04.020 Powers.

The municipal judge pro tempore shall have all inherent and statutory powers and duties of the municipal judge of the city.  (Ord. 1955 §2, 1971)
