PARKING ADVISORY COMMISSION

2.20.010 Creation.
There is created the parking commission of the city. (Ord. 1888 §1, 1969)
2.20.020 Duties.
The commission shall be an advisory commission to the city council, serving to advise the council on all matters relating to controlled parking and related development activities within off-street parking districts hereafter created in the city. (Ord. 1888 §2, 1969)
2.20.030 Meetings.
The commission shall hold meetings as needed, but no less than once every twelve months to evaluate the parking facilities of the city, and shall be charged with such other responsibilities as may be determined by the city council. (Ord. 2917 §2(part), 2005: Ord. 1888 §3, 1969)
2.20.040 Membership.
The commission shall be composed of seven members. At least five members shall own property within off-street parking districts created within the city, and no more than two members who either own businesses or who reside within the off-street parking districts created within the city. Members shall be appointed by the mayor with the approval of the city council for four-year overlapping terms. (Ord. 2917 §2(part), 2005: Ord. 1888 §4, 1969)
