Before receiving a licensing receipt and metallic licensing tag, each owner shall state at the time of application for such permit, the name and address of the owner and sex, breed, age and color of each dog to be licensed. The owner shall also present a certificate from a licensed veterinarian stating the dog has been vaccinated for the prevention of rabies. Such certificate shall give the last date of vaccination and the number of the vaccination tag used by the veterinarian at the time of vaccination. It is unlawful for the owner to misrepresent the age of any dog for the purpose of avoiding the payment of the license required by this Chapter.
