13.12.010 Adoption.
The Bothell shoreline master program as approved by the city council in Ordinance No. 1736, is hereby adopted as the Bothell shoreline master program pursuant to RCW 90.58.080 and the Shoreline Management Act of 1971, as amended.* (Ord. 1736 § 1, 1998; Ord. 1630 § 1, 1996).

13.12.020 Copies filed – City clerk responsibility.
The city clerk is directed to maintain a copy of the master program in the City Hall available for public inspection and review. (Ord. 1630 § 1, 1996).
13.12.030 Copies filed – Where available.
All guidelines and master programs adopted or approved and the ordinance codified in this title shall be available for public inspection at the office of the planning department and the city clerk. (Ord. 1630 § 1, 1996).
13.12.040 Review – Adjustments, amendments.
The director and the department of community development shall periodically review the master program for the city and recommend such adjustments and amendments as are necessary to the hearings board. The hearings board shall make such recommendations as it deems necessary to the city council as provided in this title and in the ordinance creating the board. No adjustment or amendment shall become effective until adopted by the city council by ordinance. (Ord. 1630 § 1, 1996).
13.12.050 Acquisition of lands and shorelines.
When necessary to achieve implementation of the master program, the council may either alone or in concert with other governmental entities acquire lands and easements within shorelines of the city by purchase, lease, or gift. (Ord. 1630 § 1, 1996).
13.12.060 Lands adjacent to shorelines – Use policy.
The director, the planning commission and the board shall review all administrative and management policies, regulations, plans, and ordinances relative to lands in the city adjacent to the shorelines of the city and recommend appropriate action to the council so as to achieve a use policy on the land consistent with the policy of this title, the Shoreline Management Act of 1971, as amended, the guidelines and the master programs for shorelines of the city.
