2.60.010 Established.

There is established a finance committee. (Prior code § 1.74.010).

2.60.020 Membership.

The committee shall consist of three members; two of whom shall be members of the council and a third shall be the mayor of the city. (Prior code § 1.74.020).

2.60.030 Selection of committee members from council.

The two council members shall be chosen by the mayor and their employment ratified by the city council. (Prior code § 1.74.030).

2.60.040 Terms of members.

The mayor shall serve for the regular term of his office and the two councilmen chosen shall serve for one year each, commencing with the first day of January of each year and serving until the thirty-first day of December of the same year; except the first two members so appointed shall serve from the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter to the expiration of the calendar year in which they are appointed. (Prior code § 1.74.040).

2.60.050 Duties.

The committee shall assist and advise the treasurer as to the fiscal and financial affairs of the city, and with such authority as by law provided. (Prior code § 1.74.050).
