8.25.010 Pipe Lake restrictions.

It is unlawful to use or operate any internal combustion engine on that portion of Pipe Lake located within the boundaries of the City of Covington; provided, that nothing in this section shall be construed to prevent any public official or construction company from performing authorized duties. The City is authorized to post and maintain the appropriate signs. (Ord. 97-98 § 1)

8.25.020 Violation – Penalty.

Except where the violation is classified otherwise, violation of any provision of this chapter shall be a Class 2 infraction consistent with Chapter 7.80 RCW, as it currently reads or is revised, except that it is a misdemeanor for any person to commit a violation designated as an infraction, if during a period of 365 days prior the person has twice committed the same infraction under this chapter.
