COUNTY EMPLOYEE PAYROLL, SALARIES AND COMPENSATION

2.95.010 Salaries.

A. The following schedule of salaries shall become effective January 1, 1975:

B. The salary for each commissioner position shall be:

In addition to the above salary, each commissioner shall be entitled to the same fringe benefits, including health insurance, that may be received by other county elected officials. Salaries of county commissioners continuing in office shall not be increased or diminished after a county commissioner’s election, or during his or her term of office. Any commissioner officially elected or appointed to fill an unexpired term shall receive the full salary in effect at that time.

C. The board of Columbia County commissioners proposes to establish a new deputy sheriff position and proposes to establish this position as a new item in the sheriff’s budget in the amount of $4,200 salary and fringe benefits. These funds are transferred from federal revenue sharing funds and the sheriff’s budget is amended to reflect these changes. 2.95.020 Payment of salaries and wages from certain funds.

Effective August 1, 1987, the payroll payments from the county road fund, equipment rental and revolving fund, and solid waste fund shall be made no later than the fifth day of the following month. [Res. 87-05.]

2.95.030 Deferred compensation.

The board of Columbia County commissioners requests approval by the committee for deferred compensation to participate in the deferred compensation plan for the employees of Columbia County, subject to the requirements of RCW 41.04.250 and WAC Title 154. [Res. 85-13.]

2.95.040 Mileage reimbursement.

A. Mileage reimbursement shall be computed at the rate of $0.17 per mile and actual expenses incurred for meals and lodgings are to be reimbursed when detailed on the appropriate legal form, effective May 7, 1979.

B. Such payment shall only be made for hotel, motel, official registration fees and banquet costs supported by receipts. [Res. 79-08; Res. 77-28; Res. 74-19.]
