14.44.010 Short title.

This chapter is known as and may be referred to as the protective parking devices code. [Ord. 1407 § 192, 2007.]

14.44.020 Required.

All parking areas, service yards, or other vehicle areas, heretofore or hereafter constructed, which in the opinion of the building official slope down to adjoining properties or streets, or such areas which have a drop-off grade separation in relation to adjoining properties or streets, shall have provided by the owner, operator, or lessee a wall, sturdy railing, or other installation which will prevent a slow-moving or driverless vehicle from escaping such area.
