2.62.010 Organization established.

A Department of Emergency Management is established. The department shall represent only the City of Issaquah. (Ord. 1753 § 1, 1987).

2.62.020 Director.

The Department of Emergency Management shall be headed by a Director who shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to Council confirmation. The Director shall be directly responsible to the Mayor. The Director shall be responsible for the organization, administration and operation of the Department of Emergency Management. (Ord. 1753 § 1, 1987).

2.62.030 Powers.

The Department of Emergency Management shall have all of the powers enumerated in Chapter 38.52 RCW, as now or hereafter amended. (Ord. 1753 § 1, 1987).

2.62.040 Emergency Management Operations Plan adopted.

That certain document entitled “City of Issaquah Emergency Management Operations Plan” and dated December, 1989, is hereby adopted by this reference as the City’s Emergency Management Plan. (Ord. 1841 § 1, 1989).
