MUNICIPAL COURT PETTY CASH FUND

3.27.010 Created.

There is created in the City Treasury a special fund designated the Municipal Court Petty Cash Fund for the making of change to Municipal Court customers and into which fund shall be deposited the sum of $150.00, comprised of 2 $75.00 cash drawers, which will be its maximum balance and out of which no single expense item shall exceed $25.00. The Municipal Court Administrator shall be responsible for administration and accounting of such fund. Warrants may be issued from time to time by the Finance Department based upon vouchers documenting disbursements made as approved by the City Council. (Ord. 2411 § 1, 2004).

3.27.020 Appropriation of funds – Warrant issuance.

The sum of $150.00 is appropriated from the General Fund to the Municipal Court Petty Cash Fund for the purposes authorized in IMC 3.27.010 and the Finance Director is authorized to issue additional warrants, from time to time, to the Municipal Court Petty Cash Fund to reimburse the fund for actual expenses incurred as contemplated in this chapter.
