CIGARETTE VENDING MACHINES

5.16.010 License – Required.

It is unlawful for any retail business establishment within the City, to have or permit cigarette vending machines on its premises without obtaining a cigarette vending machine license from the City. (Ord. 1065 § 1, 1971).

5.16.020 License – Issuance – Restriction.

No cigarette vending machine shall be issued a license unless it is either in an area not accessible to minors; or it is remotely controlled by a switch which shall be inaccessible to the customer, and shall render the machine inoperable until activated for each sale. (Ord. 1065 § 2, 1971).

5.16.030 License – Fee.

The license fee for a cigarette vending machine shall be $10.00 a year for each cigarette vending machine. (Ord. 1065 § 3, 1971).
