LOW INCOME SENIOR CITIZENS DISCOUNT FOR WATER/SEWER SERVICES

13.28.010 Qualifications.
To qualify for the rate reduction, a senior citizen shall:
(1) Be 62 years of age or older at the time of filing for the reduced rate.
(2) Be a full-time occupant of the single-family home to which the utility billing is charged.
(3) Provide proof that annual income does not exceed $9,864 for single household income.
(4) Provide proof that annual income does not exceed $13,260 for combined household income.
(5) The water account for which the reduced rate to be applied is sought shall be in the name of the individual owner or renter claiming eligibility for the low income senior citizens rights. (Ord. 06-013 § 1; Ord. 99-600 § 2).
13.28.020 Filing requirements.
(1) Application forms are available from the clerk-treasurer.
(2) Complete applications submitted to the clerk-treasurer must include attached proof of income and proof of age of the applicant. (Ord. 06-013 § 1; Ord. 99-600 § 3).
