(1) For municipal representation, the city is divided into three districts bounded and described as follows:
District I. All territory lying within the following described boundary:
Starting at the western intersection of the city limits and West Pioneer Avenue. East along Pioneer Avenue to 13th Street. South along 13th Street to 7th Avenue. East along 7th Avenue to State Route 512. North along State Route 512 to Pioneer Avenue. Southeasterly along Pioneer Avenue to city limits. Northerly along the city limits to the point of beginning. District I shall specifically include all territory annexed into the City by Ordinance No. 2811, and the portion of territory annexed into the City by Ordinance No. 2924 that is north of West Pioneer Avenue.
District II. All the territory lying within the following described boundary:
Starting at the western intersection of the city limits and West Pioneer Avenue. East along Pioneer Avenue to 13th Street. South along 13th Street to 7th Avenue. East along 7th Avenue to State Route 512. North along State Route 512 to Pioneer Avenue. Southeasterly along Pioneer Avenue to city limits. Southerly along the city limits to Crystal Lane Loop. South along Crystal Lane Loop to 15th Avenue. West along 15th Avenue to Amber Boulevard. South along Amber Boulevard to Crystal Ridge Drive. Southerly along Crystal Ridge Drive to 23rd Avenue. West along 23rd Avenue to South Meridian. North on Meridian to 21st Avenue. West on 21st Avenue to State Route 512. Southerly on State Route 512 to the city limits. Northerly along the city limits to the point of beginning. District II shall specifically include all territory annexed into the City by Ordinance Nos. 2717, 2774, 2775, 2798, 2800, 2824, and 2848, and the portion of territory annexed into the City by Ordinance No. 2924 that is south of West Pioneer Avenue.
District III. All the territory lying within the following described boundary:
Starting at the intersection of eastern city limits and Crystal Lane Loop. South along Crystal Lane Loop to 15th Avenue. West along 15th Avenue to Amber Boulevard. South along Amber Boulevard to Crystal Ridge Drive. Southerly along Crystal Ridge Drive to 23rd Avenue. West along 23rd Avenue to South Meridian. North on Meridian to 21st Avenue. West on 21st Avenue to State Route 512. Southerly on State Route 512 to the city limits. Southerly along the city limits to the point of the beginning. District III shall specifically include all territory annexed into the City by Ordinance Nos. 2799 and 2818.
(2) Districts I, II, and III are, for illustrative purposes, identified in the map labeled as “City of Puyallup Council District Map,” May 5, 2009. Such map may be updated upon adoption of subsequent annexation ordinances assigning newly annexed territory to a particular district(s). The city clerk is authorized to approve the final form of such map in a manner consistent with the direction provided in the ordinance codified in this section.
