EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE DISTRICT

1.10.010 Established.

An emergency medical service district is established within all now or hereafter incorporated areas lying within the town of Twisp, pursuant to RCW 35.21.766, for the purpose of providing emergency medical service and a system of ambulance service for all residents within the proposed emergency medical service district. (Ord. 380 § 1, 1991)

1.10.020 Boundaries.

The boundaries of the emergency medical service district shall be coextensive with the boundaries of the incorporated areas within the town of Twisp, including any areas hereafter incorporated. (Ord. 380 § 2, 1991)

1.10.030 Additional tax levy imposed.

The town of Twisp shall impose an additional property tax levy in the amount of $0.50 per $1,000 of assessed value of property in the incorporated area lying within the town of Twisp, and each year for six consecutive years for the provision of emergency medical care and a system of ambulance service to be levied for the incorporated area within the town of Twisp in 1992, for collection in 1992 and subsequent years through 1997. 1.10.040 Interlocal agreement.

The town of Twisp shall enter into an interlocal agreement pursuant to Chapter 39.34 RCW with the county of Okanogan for the provision of emergency medical services within all of the Methow Valley. (Ord. 380 § 5, 1991)
