FIRE DEPARTMENT DONATION TRUST FUND

3.80.010 Established.
There is hereby established as a separate fund within the budgetary funds of the town of Twisp a separate and distinct budget fund designated as “fire department donation trust fund.” (Ord. 304 § 1, 1985)
3.80.020 Receipts – Purposes.
Receipts of said fund shall consist of contributions, donations, and gifts which are designated by the donor or contributor as being specifically for the use of the volunteer fire department and/or the town of Twisp to pay the cost of improvements, repairs, and maintenance of the Twisp fire department buildings, grounds, and facilities located at 434 Second Avenue, formerly the State Highway Department Garage, which has been acquired and is now owned by the town of Twisp. 3.80.030 Authorized expenditures.
All receipts designated as above provided shall be deposited and held for the account or credit of said “fire department donation trust fund” and no expenditure therefrom shall be made or authorized except for the purposes set forth in TMC 3.80.020. Expenditures from said fund shall be made only upon the authorization of the town council and such expenditures shall be paid by warrant drawn upon said fund. Authorization of expenditures shall be made pursuant to statutory procedures provided by the laws of the state of Washington relating to expenditure of funds by fourth class towns. 3.80.040 Receipts and disbursement estimates.
The town shall provide for the estimate of receipts and disbursement of said funds in its annual budget commencing with the town budget for the year 1986. Receipts and expenditures for the year 1985, if any there be, shall be provided for by amendment to the town budget for the year 1985 in accordance with statutory procedures provided by the laws of the state of Washington.
