9.10.010 Rules and regulations.
From and after the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter the following rules and regulations shall be in force and shall govern the conduct of the users and the use of the city park:
(1) No motor vehicle, travel trailer, mobile home, or other wheeled vehicle, except vehicles used for park maintenance purposes, shall be driven, parked, or left standing upon the lawn or grass areas within the city park. Exception to this regulation may be permitted pursuant to special permit authorized by the town council.
(2) No bicycles or tricycles shall be ridden or operated upon the sidewalks within the city park. All bicycles and tricycles shall be left or parked in areas marked or designated for such purpose.
(3) No overnight camping shall be permitted. The park hours of use during that portion of the year when the same is open for public use shall be from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
(4) No dogs shall be permitted within the boundaries of the city park, except bona fide guide dogs while engaged in guiding a handicapped owner or user.
(5) Group activities shall be confined to areas designated for such purpose. Reservation of the designated area for group activities shall be made with the town clerk. All reservations shall be granted on a “first come, first served basis” within the limits of space available.
(6) A fee of $10.00 per day, payable in advance, will be charged for use of electrical outlet facilities.
(7) Trash areas or dumpsters located within the city park are provided for users of the park only, and any unauthorized use thereof shall be deemed to be a violation of this provision.
(8) No motor vehicle, travel trailer, mobile home, motorcycle, or other wheeled vehicle shall be permitted to remain within the city park during the hours when the park is not open for public use as set forth in subsection (3) of this section. (Ord. 302 § 1, 1986)
9.10.020 Violation – Penalty.
Any person, or persons, found to be in violation of the rules and regulations set forth in TMC 9.10.010 shall be subject to a civil penalty in an amount not less than $37.50 nor more than $500.00. (Ord. 302 § 2, 1986)
