1.16.010 City seal – Description.

The description of the seal of the City shall be a circle upon which shall be imprinted the words: “THE CITY OF NORTH POLE, ALASKA”; and across the face the inscription: “INCORPORATED JANUARY 16, 1953.” (Ord. 82-3 § 2-1, 1982)

1.16.020 City seal and logo – Adoption used to authenticate acts.

The seal described in NPMC 1.16.010 is adopted and declared to be the corporate seal of the City of North Pole. The seal of the City shall be kept by the City Clerk and affixed to all ordinances, resolutions and documents as required.

No person or entity shall use the City seal or any or all City logos unless there is prior written authorization by the City Council. Any violation of this provision is a Class A misdemeanor punishable by up to a $5,000 (five-thousand-dollar) fine or one-year incarceration. (Ord. 10-10 § 2, 2010; Ord. 82-3 § 2-2, 1982)
