12.05.010 Building number required.

It is unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to maintain any building or structure in the City without having over the entrance thereto or in a conspicuous place near the entrance thereto the number of the said building. [Ord. 11-82-01 § 1].

12.05.020 Map showing numbers to be maintained.

It is hereby made the duty of the Water and Sewer Operator or other officer designated by the City Manager to keep and maintain a map whereon shall be shown the numbers of all buildings and structures now in the City and which may hereafter be moved, built, or constructed in the City, and to furnish such information to the public upon request. 12.05.030 Size and style of numbers.

The numbers on each building or structure must be of a uniform size and style and must not be more than three inches in height. [Ord. 11-82-01 § 3].

12.05.040 How buildings are to be numbered.

The numbering system shall conform with the existing numbering system established by the City of Ketchikan, and in each instance the buildings and structures on the streets shall be numbered consecutively, the even numbers on the right and the odd numbers on the left. [Ord. 11-82-01 § 4].

12.05.050 Penalty for violation of building numbering system.

It is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to violate any of the provisions of this chapter dealing with the building numbering system. Any person, firm or corporation who violates this chapter shall be punished by a fine of not more than $300.00. [Ord. 11-82-01 § 5].
