12.24.010 Mokelumne River--Log and timber transportation.

All that portion of the Mokelumne River lying within the boundaries of Amador County, which stream has not been declared by law to be navigable, and which is not in fact navigable for commercial purposes is declared to be a public highway for the floating and transportation of logs, timber and lumber.  (Ord. 57 §1, 1893).

12.24.020 Fishing--Generally.

It is declared by the board of supervisors of the county that all of the rivers or streams hereinafter designated, situated in the county are public highways for the purpose of fishing therein.  (Ord. 357 §1, 1963; Ord. 276 §1, 1955).

12.24.030 Fishing--Sutter Creek.

One such river, or watercourse referred to in Section 12.24.020 is that portion of Sutter Creek commencing at its intersection with State Highway 49 and continuing generally in an easterly direction to its point of origin.  (Ord. 357 §2, 1963).

12.24.040 Exception to Section 12.24.030.

Section 12.24.030 does not apply to such portions of said river, stream or watercourse that lie within or run through cultivated land lying within the county.  (Ord. 357 §3, 1963).

12.24.050 Fishing--Mokelumne River.

One such stream, river or watercourse referred to in Section 12.24.020 is the Mokelumne River.  (Ord. 276 §2, 1955).

12.24.060 Exception to Section 12.24.050.

A.    Section 12.24.050 does not apply to or include any of the tributaries, or any part or portion of said tributaries of the Mokelumne River that lie within or run through Amador County.

B.    Section 12.24.050 does not apply to such portions of said river, stream or watercourse that lie within or run through cultivated land lying within the county.  (Ord. 276 §§3, 4, 1955).
