17.84.010 Violation--Penalty.

Any offer to sell, contract to sell or sale contrary to the provisions of this title is a misdemeanor, and any person, firm, corporation, partner ship or copartnership, upon conviction thereof, is punishable by a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars, and not more than five hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period of not more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment, except that nothing herein contained shall be deemed to bar any legal, equitable or summary remedy to which the county or other political subdivision, or any person, firm, corporation, partnership, or copartnership may otherwise be entitled, and the county or any other political subdivision or person, firm, corporation, partnership or copartnership may file a suit in the Superior Court of the county to restrain or enjoin any attempt or proposed subdivision or sale in violation of this title.  (Ord. 375 §31, 1965).
