17.96.010 Public utility easement abandonment.

The fee charged by the county surveyor for reviewing each public utility easement abandonment shall be as established by resolution of the board of supervisors.  The county surveyor shall review for compliance with law the public utility easement abandonment prior to submission to the board of supervisors.  The fee for a summary easement vacation as described in Government Code Section 66477.2(c) and the manner of which is prescribed in the Streets and Highways Code Section 8330 shall be as established by resolution of the board of supervisors.  (Ord. 1628 §2(part), 2005).

17.96.020 Record of survey.

The fee charged by the county surveyor for reviewing each record of survey shall be as established by resolution of the board of supervisors, and the county surveyor shall review for compliance with law.  (Ord. 1628 §2(part), 2005).

17.96.030 Boundary line adjustment.

The fee charged by the county surveyor for reviewing each boundary line adjustment shall be as established by resolution of the board of supervisors.  If a record of survey or parcel map is filed for the boundary line adjustment then those fees shall be in addition to the boundary line adjustment fee.  The fee for abandonment in conjunction with the lot line adjustment and a one-year extension of time shall be as established by resolution of the board of supervisors.  The county surveyor shall review for compliance with law the boundary line adjustment prior to submission to the board of supervisors.  (Ord. 1628 §2(part), 2005).

17.96.040 Subdivision compliance certificate.

The fee charged by the county surveyor for reviewing each subdivision compliance certificate shall be as established by resolution of the board of supervisors and the county surveyor shall review for compliance with law the subdivision compliance certificate prior to submission to the board of supervisors.  (Ord. 1628 §2(part), 2005).

17.96.050 Corner record.

The fee charged by the county surveyor for reviewing each corner record shall be the same as provided for the recording of a deed in the county recorder’s office, and the county surveyor shall review for compliance with law the corner record.  (Ord. 1628 §2(part), 2005).

17.96.060 Subdivision map.

The fee charged by the county surveyor for reviewing each final subdivision map shall be as established by resolution of the board of supervisors.  If the subdivider resubmits a redesigned final map, the fee to recheck shall be as established by resolution of the board of supervisors.  The county surveyor shall review for compliance with the law the subdivision maps prior to submission to the board of supervisors.  (Ord. 1628 §2(part), 2005).

17.96.070 Parcel map.

The fee charged by the county surveyor for reviewing each final parcel map or a redesigned parcel map shall be as established by resolution of the board of supervisors.  The county surveyor shall review for compliance with law the parcel maps prior to submission to the board of supervisors.  (Ord. 1628 §2(part), 2005).

17.96.080 Amending map--Certificate of correction.

After a final or parcel map is filed in the office of the county recorder, the recorded map may be modified by a certificate of correction or amended map as provided for in Government Code Section 66469.  The fee charged by the county surveyor for reviewing the certificate of correction or for an amending map shall be as established by resolution of the board of supervisors.  (Ord. 1628 §2(part), 2005).

17.96.090 Modification of final map or parcel map.

A.  Modification of Final Map or Parcel Map.  After a final subdivision or parcel map is filed in the office of the county recorder, the recorded map may be modified by a certificate of correction or amended map as provided for in Government Code Section 66472.1 if:

1.  The local agency finds that there are changes in circumstances which make any or all of the conditions of such a map no longer appropriate or necessary; and

2.  The modification(s) do not impose any additional burden on the present fee owners of the property; and

3.  The modification(s) do not alter the location or any property line or any right, title or interest in the real property reflected on the recorded map; and

4.  The map as modified conforms to the provisions of Government Code Section 66474.

B.  Any modification to the recorded parcel or final map shall be accomplished by the recordation of a certificate of correction or an amended map by the county surveyor at the direction of the local agency.  Prior to such direction, the local agency shall confine the scope of the public hearing to consideration of and action on the proposed map modification(s).

C.  If modifications to a recorded parcel or final map are requested by the original subdivider, or his/her successors in interest, or his/her original surveyor or engineer, a filing fee shall be paid by the person(s) making the request for map modification.  The fees charged by the county surveyor for reviewing the certificate of correction, a public hearing if required, or for an amending subdivision map or parcel map shall be as established by resolution of the board of supervisors.  (Ord. 1628 §2(part), 2005).

17.96.100 Special work.

The fee charged by the surveying department for research, professional or special work shall be as established by resolution of the board of supervisors.  (Ord. 1628 §2(part), 2005).
