CITY PARKS

12.25.010 Purpose.
The purpose of this chapter is to provide the community with safe access to and use of city parks without unduly limiting park access to all members of the public, to provide time for maintenance operations that may conflict with park use, and to allow law enforcement to maintain a safe park for the community. 12.25.020 Park hours.
Use hours for all city parks shall be as follows:
A. Sunrise to sunset except as provided in subsection B of this section. Sunrise and sunset for any given day shall be as published by the National Oceanic and Administrative Agency for the city of Angels.
B. Park use outside of the hours established in subsection A of this section shall be by application through City Hall prior to use.
C. A violation of this chapter is a misdemeanor. In addition to the remedies set forth in Penal Code Section 370, the city may institute civil actions to abate a public nuisance or invoke any remedy provided for in Chapter 1.16, 1.17, 1.18 or 1.19. (Ord. 495 §1(part), 2019)
