Sec. 3100 Adoption of fire protection system.

All fire protection and prevention duties, except those hereinafter mentioned, within the City of Arcata have been and continue to be the responsibility of the Arcata Fire Protection District.

Sec. 3200 Designation of fire hazard severity zones. Revised 10/25

The City of Arcata hereby designates the Fire Hazard Severity Zones as recommended by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection pursuant to Government Code Section 51178. The map is hereby incorporated by reference and entitled "City of Arcata Local Responsibility Area Fire Hazard Severity Zones," dated April 14, 2025. (Ord. 1580, eff. 9/5/2025)
