9.20.010 Placement of debris in gutters and streets – Prohibited.

No person, firm or corporation shall leave or place any debris or litter in the gutters or the streets. [Ord. 355 § 2, 2005]

9.20.020 Burning of debris in gutters and streets – Prohibited.

No person, firm or corporation shall burn any litter, brush or leaves in or on improved streets or gutters, including the improved sidewalk rights-of-way. [Ord. 355 § 2, 2005]

9.20.030 Burning regulations.

It shall be unlawful to burn any debris, litter, leaves or weeds in any place, excepting during the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and no burning shall be done at any place on private property, or otherwise, unless there is a cleared area of at least five feet from the exterior boundaries of such fire. 9.20.040 Burning limitations – Fire season – Burning permit required.

It shall be unlawful to burn any weeds, litter, brush or debris, even within the times specified hereinabove, during any season when an extreme fire hazard condition has been declared by appropriate authority and during which time burning permits are required, such burning permits to be issued by the fire chief. [Ord. 355 § 2, 2005]

9.20.050 Penalty for violation.

Violation of the provisions of this chapter shall constitute an infraction and shall be punishable as such. [Ord. 355 § 2, 2005]

9.20.060 No conflict with other laws or regulations.

Nothing herein contained shall in anywise be a substitution or a modification of any other regulation or ordinance relating to fire hazards or fire permits. [Ord. 355 § 2, 2005]
