5.12.010 Time limit without permit.

No catering car, truck or wagon, mobile restaurant or other mobile catering service engaged in the business of selling food or beverages, shall without a permit as herein provided, remain in any one location in the city for more than a total of three hours in any twenty-four hour day, while catering, offering to conduct or holding itself out as available for catering service or the furnishing of food or beverage for human consumption. For the purpose of this chapter any place within a single city block shall be deemed to be one location. (Ord. 69 § 1, 1960)

5.12.020 Time limit with permit.

Any person owning, controlling, having possession of, driving, moving or conducting business from such a catering car, truck or wagon, mobile restaurant or other mobile catering service, and desiring to conduct such catering service for more than three hours in any twenty-four hour day in one location as above defined, shall apply to the city manager for a permit and shall pay an inspection fee of twenty-five dollars. An inspection of the applicant’s mobile equipment and facilities shall be made by the city manager and a representative of the health department, and if the condition thereof is satisfactory, a permit shall issue. 5.12.030 Penalty for violation.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter or knowingly or intentionally misrepresenting to any officer of the city any material fact in procuring the permit herein provided for, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable as provided in Section 1.08.020.
