9.50.010 Civic center defined.

As used in this chapter, the term “civic center” means those parcels of land owned by the city located immediately north and west of the corner of Bloomfield Avenue and One Hundred Eighty-third Street and occupied by the city hall and city library. All streets, avenues, alleys, sidewalks, ramps, paths, curbs, drains, gutters, parking lots, paved areas, fountains, parks, landscaped areas or public places within or appurtenant to the above-described real property are included in the term “civic center” as used in this chapter. 9.50.020 Misdemeanor declared.

Every person who rides, skates, propels or uses any bicycle, skateboard, roller skate or any similar device in any portion of the civic center where signs or markers are displayed prohibiting such use is guilty of a misdemeanor. (Ord. 563 § 1 (part), 1978)

9.50.030 Permitting violation.

Every parent, guardian or other person having legal care, custody or control of any person under the age of eighteen years who allows or permits such person to violate any provision of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor. (Ord. 563 § 1 (part), 1978)

9.50.040 Penalty for violation.

A violation of this chapter or of any provisions thereof is punishable as provided in Section 1.08.020. (Ord. 563 § 1 (part), 1978)
