8.17.101 Adoption of the California Green Building Standards Code.

For the purpose of regulating residential and non-residential buildings, the 2025 California Green Building Standards Code (CALGreen Code) promulgated by the California Building Standards Commission is hereby adopted by reference thereto as if fully set forth in this Chapter. Copies of the 2025 California Green Building Standards Code are on file in the office of the City Clerk and Building Official. Any changes made by the California Building Standards Commission applicable to the City, including new editions, shall be deemed incorporated herein. If any conflicts between this Code and any other City, State, or Federal Code should arise, the most restrictive Code providing the highest level of safety, as determined by the Building Official, shall prevail.
