20.98.010 Purpose.

A. It is unlawful for any person to place, install, use or maintain a liquid petroleum gas dispensing unit without an operations permit: liquid petroleum gas dispensing.

B. Any person operating a liquid petroleum gas dispensing unit within the City in violation of this chapter or terms of any permit issued pursuant to this chapter shall be guilty of an infraction in accordance with CMC 1.08.050(A). (Ord. 1956 § 4, 2004; Ord. 1807)

20.98.020 Definition.

A “liquid petroleum gas dispensing unit,” whether on public or private property, shall include any device used for the purpose of storing, dispensing or selling of liquid petroleum gas. (Ord. 1956 § 5, 2004)

20.98.030 Issuing authority.

The Director of Fire Services is authorized to issue operations permit: liquid petroleum gas dispensing.

20.98.040 Application.

The application shall be filed no later than 30 days prior to the proposed date of the liquid petroleum gas dispensing operation.

20.98.050 Regulations.

There is hereby adopted by reference, by the City for the purpose of prescribing rules and regulations for a liquid petroleum gas dispensing operation, the 1991 Uniform Fire Code, Article 4, Permits, in its entirety.
