REVERSION TO ACREAGE AND RESUBDIVISION

9.48.010 Reversion to acreage.

A.    Authority. Subdivided real property may be reverted to acreage by motion of the City Council or by petition of landowners, pursuant to Government Code Section 66499.11 et seq.

B.    Form. Petitions for reversions to acreage shall be entitled “Reversion to Acreage of ______,” shall be in a form prescribed by the Community Development Director, and shall contain the information required in Government Code Section 66499.13.

C.    Notice, Hearing, Approval. The City Council shall hold a public hearing on the proposed reversion to acreage, with notice per Government Code Sections 65090 and 65091. The City Council may approve the reversion to acreage upon making the findings in Government Code Section 66499.16 and with conditions pursuant to Section 66499.17.

D.    Parcel Map for Reversion to Acreage. A parcel map may be filed and approved for a reversion to acreage pursuant to Government Code Section 66499.20.1. No tentative map shall be required. The City Engineer is the advisory agency for the purpose of this subsection. (Ord. 4-16 § 1 (Exh. A) (part))

9.48.020 Resubdivision.

Subdivided lands may be merged and re-subdivided without reverting to acreage pursuant to Government Code Section 66499.20.2 by complying with all applicable provisions of the Subdivision Map Act and this title. (Ord. 4-16 § 1 (Exh. A) (part))
