1.10.010 Title – Reference to code.

This code shall be known as “the District Code of Dublin San Ramon Services District,” “the Code of Dublin San Ramon Services District,” “the Dublin San Ramon Services District Code,” “the District Ordinance Code” or the “DSRSDC” and may be so cited. It is sufficient to designate any ordinance adding to, amending or repealing this code as an addition or amendment to, or a repeal of, the Dublin San Ramon Services District Code. 1.10.020 Authority.

Except as otherwise provided, this code consists of all the rules and regulations of the Dublin San Ramon Services District, codified under the authority of Article 2 of Chapter 1 of Division 1 of Title 5 of the of California Government Code. 1.10.030 Effective date.

This code shall take effect upon its adoption. [Ord. 118, 1975; Ord. 273, 1997; Ord. 327, 2010.]

1.10.040 Effect of code on past actions and obligations.

Neither the adoption of this code nor the repeal thereby of any ordinance of the District shall in any manner affect the prosecution for violations of ordinances, which violations were committed prior to the effective date of the code, nor be construed as a waiver of any fee or penalty at such effective date due and unpaid under such ordinances, nor be construed as affecting any of the provisions of such ordinances relating to the collection of any such fee or penalty or the penal provisions applicable to any violation thereof, nor affect the validity of any bond or cash deposit required to be posted. 1.10.050 Reference to specific ordinances.

The provisions of this code shall not in any manner affect deposits or other matters of record which refer to or are otherwise connected with ordinances which are therein specifically designated by number or otherwise and which are included within this code, but such references shall be construed to apply to the corresponding provisions contained within this code. 1.10.060 Severability of parts of code.

It is hereby declared to be the intention of the Board of Directors that the sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses and phrases of this code are severable. If any phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph or section of this code is declared illegal or unconstitutional by the valid judgment or decree of a court of competent jurisdiction, such illegality or unconstitutionality shall not affect any of the remaining phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs and sections of this code. 1.10.070 Repeal of ordinances.

All ordinances or portions of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this code are hereby repealed. [Ord. 118, 1975; Ord. 273, 1997; Ord. 327, 2010.]

1.10.080 Repeal of code.

All former codes and parts of codes inconsistent with the provisions of this code are hereby repealed. [Ord. 142, 1978; Ord. 146, 1979; Ord. 273, 1997; Ord. 327, 2010.]

1.10.090 Maintenance of code.

At least three copies of this code shall be filed for use and examination by the public in the office of the General Manager. The General Manager shall maintain an additional copy, duly certified, as the official copy of the code. Additional copies of the code shall be distributed as prescribed by the General Manager.

Upon the adoption of any amendment or addition to this code, or upon the repeal of any of its provisions, the General Manager shall make an appropriate notation in the official copy of the code, and shall make available copies of the ordinances for examination by the public.

The General Manager shall from time to time cause the looseleaf pages of this code in which changes have been made to be reproduced, including a notation as to the ordinance number and date pursuant to which the change is effective, and distributed in order that the looseleaf copies of the code, prepared for the use and convenience of the officers and employees of the District and the general public, may be brought up to date. 1.10.100 Exclusions from code.

Ordinances relating to matters of a special or temporary nature only are excluded from this code and are unaffected by its provisions. [Ord. 118, 1975; Ord. 273, 1997; Ord. 327, 2010.]
