3.24.010 Purpose of provisions.

The city increased the franchise fees for cable television franchises on July 1, 1987, from two to five percent. The city council specified that such increase was to be used to promote the community. (Ord. 87-519 § 1).

3.24.020 Allocation of franchise fees.

Three percent of the moneys received from cable television franchise fees will be used to stimulate tourism, retail business, and economic development activities in the city. Two percent of the moneys received shall be allocated to the general fund. (Ord. 87-519 § 1).
