12.25.050 Correcting existing conflicts.

If the planning director finds existing streets now carrying more than one name or streets numbered inconsistent with this chapter, a meeting may be held with the residents and businesses along the street to determine if any changes should be made to correct a problem. After a meeting with the residents, a public hearing may be held by the planning commission to recommend a suitable singular name or numbering system to the city council. A final public hearing shall be held by the city council. All residents affected by any recommended changes shall be mailed a notice within 10 days of any public hearing. (Ord. 87-515 § 2).
