17.20.010 Regulation generally.

The specific regulations set forth in this chapter shall apply in all R-4 districts. (Ord. 657 § 2 (Exh. B), 2023)

17.20.020 Permitted uses.

The following uses shall be permitted in the R-4 districts:

A.    Any use permitted in any R-3 residential districts;

B.    Accessory uses which are necessary to the above-mentioned uses. (Ord. 657 § 2 (Exh. B), 2023)

17.20.030 Conditional uses.

The following uses shall be permitted only when authorized by a conditional use permit issued in accordance with Chapter 17.72:

A.    Any conditional use permitted in the R-3 multiple-family residential districts;

B.    Convalescent homes, rest homes or nursing homes accommodating more than five persons in addition to the owner or manager and his family wherein the total structure has been designed specifically for the use permitted. (Ord. 657 § 2 (Exh. B), 2023)

17.20.040 Area, bulk, yard and height regulations.

The following area, bulk, yard and height regulations shall apply in the R-4 districts:

Maximum lot size shall depend upon the general plan land use designation. For condominium residential, maximum lot size shall be 2,904. For apartment residential, maximum lot size shall be 2,178.

17.20.050 Parking.

Parking shall be provided in accordance with Chapter 17.62. (Ord. 657 § 2 (Exh. B), 2023)
