CITY HEALTH OFFICER

1.38.010 POSITION ESTABLISHED:
The position of city health officer is established. The Monterey county health officer shall serve as the city health officer unless another is appointed by the city manager and confirmed by the city council. (Ord. 2010-61, 2-16-2010)
1.38.020 DUTIES:
It shall be the duty of the city health officer to advise the city manager and the city council on health related issues, represent the city in proceedings related to health issues, and follow state law regarding duties of a health officer. (Ord. 2010-61, 2-16-2010)
