2.04.010 Meeting – Time.
The city council shall meet regularly twice a month on the second and fourth Mondays, at the hour of 6:00 p.m. Special meetings of the city council may be held at an alternate time, provided such time is indicated on the meeting agenda. (Ord. 21-07 § 1, 2021; Ord. 76-5 § 1, 1976)
2.04.020 Meeting – Location.
Regular meetings of the city council shall be held in either the council meeting room of the city office building located at 7018 Pine Street in the city of Hughson, Stanislaus County, California, or the senior community center located at 2307 4th Street in the city of Hughson, Stanislaus County, California.
Special meetings of the city council may be held in an alternate location provided such location is within the boundaries of the city of Hughson and as allowed by law. (Ord. 21-07 § 2, 2021; Ord. 14-01 § 1, 2014; Ord. 76-5 § 2, 1976)
2.04.030 Vacancy filling – Appointment.
Vacancies occurring on the city council shall be filled in accordance with the provisions of California Government Code Section 36512. (Ord. 92-05 § 1, 1992; Ord. 81-1 § 1, 1981; Ord. 78-7 § 1, 1978)
2.04.040 Mayor – Term of office.
The mayor shall serve for a term of four years. (Ord. 21-02 § 1, 2021)
