2.04.010 Meetings.

A.    Meetings of the city council shall be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 225 Park Street, Lakeport, California.

B.    Regular meetings of the city council of the city of Lakeport shall be held on the first and third Tuesdays of each and every month during the year at the hour of six p.m.

C.    If the date of the regular meeting falls on a holiday, then the regular meeting shall be held on the following Tuesday. (Ord. 838 §1, 2005; Ord. 812 §2, 2002; Ord. 805 §2, 2000; Ord. 744 §2, 1993; Ord. 684 §§1-3, 1988)

2.04.020 Compensation.

A.    Government Code Section 36516 provides that a city council may enact an ordinance providing that each member of the city council shall receive a salary consistent with the limitations of such statute.

B.    City council members in cities with a population up to and including thirty-five thousand persons may receive a salary not to exceed three hundred dollars per month.

C.    Each member of the city council shall receive a salary in the amount of three hundred dollars per month commencing in the month that the ordinance codified in this section becomes operative. (Ord. 661 §§1--3, 1986)
