STOPS AND THROUGH STREETS
10.32.030 Emerging from alley, driveway or building.
10.32.060 Railroad grade crossings.
10.32.010 Signs.
Whenever any ordinance of this city designates and describes any street or portion thereof as a through street, or any intersection at which vehicles are required to stop at one or more entrances thereto, or any railroad grade crossing at which vehicles are required to stop, the city engineer shall erect and maintain stop signs as follows.
A stop sign shall be erected on each and every street intersecting the through street or portion thereof so designated and at those entrances of other intersections where a stop is required and at any railroad grade crossing so designated. Every such sign shall conform with, and shall be placed as provided in, the Vehicle Code. (Ord. 882 § 5, 1978: prior code § 13.1(7)).
10.32.030 Emerging from alley, driveway or building.
The driver of a vehicle emerging from an alley, driveway or building shall stop the vehicle immediately prior to driving onto a sidewalk or into the sidewalk area extending across any alleyway or driveway. (Prior code § 13.1(7.2)).
10.32.040 Through streets.
The streets or portions of streets, intersections or entrances thereto in this city hereinafter described are defined and established as through streets:
(1) First Street, from the west line of B Street to the south line of Second Street;
(2) Fifth Street, from the east line of A Street to the westerly city limits;
(3) Ninth Street, from the west line of B Street to the east line of I Street except at D Street, E Street and H Street;
(4) Tenth Street, from the west line of E Street to the westerly city limits except F Street and H Street;
(5) Tenth Street, east, from the east line of B Street to the west line of Ramirez Street;
(6) Twelfth Street, east, from the east line of B Street to the Browns Valley Road;
(7) Fourteenth Street, from the west line of B Street to its westerly terminus;
(8) Seventeenth Street, east, from the Browns Valley Road to the east line of Covillaud Street;
(9) Eighteenth Street, east, from the east line of B Street to the west line of Covillaud Street;
(10) Twenty-second Street, east, from the east line of Ramirez Street to the west line of State Highway Route 20;
(11) Twenty-fourth Street, east, from the east line of B Street to the east line of Sampson Street;
(12) Twenty-fifth Street, east, from the east line of Sampson Street to the west line of Covillaud Street;
(13) Twenty-sixth Street, east, from the east line of Covillaud Street to the north city limits;
(14) B Street, from the north line of First Street to the north city limits except at Ninth Street and East Twelfth Street;
(15) C Street, from the north line of First Street to the south line of Ninth Street except at Fifth Street;
(16) D Street, from the south line of Ninth Street to the north line of First Street except eastbound traffic at Fifth Street;
(17) E Street, from the south line of Second Street to the north line of Tenth Street except at Third, Fifth, Seventh and Ninth Streets and except traffic turning right from the eastbound lanes on Tenth Street;
(18) E Street, from the north line of Tenth Street to the south line of Fourteenth Street;
(19) G Street, from the north line of Tenth Street to the south line of Fourteenth Street;
(20) H Street, from the south line of Fifth Street to the north line of Fourteenth Street except at Tenth Street;
(21) I Street, from the north line of Fifth Street to the south line of Tenth Street;
(22) K Street, from the east line of Olive Street 1365 feet to the south line of the shopping center entrance;
(23) Browns Valley Road, from the east line of Buchanan Street to the north city limits;

10.32.060 Railroad grade crossings.*
The railroad grade crossings in this city described in this section are defined and established as railroad grade crossings.
