2.48.040 Charges for water used by city departments.
2.48.010 Created—Functions.
There is created a municipal water department, which shall be known as Menlo Park municipal water department, which shall have control of the construction, operation and maintenance of the municipal water system now or hereafter owned and operated by the city and which shall control the purchase, distribution and sale of water and the funds derived therefrom. (Prior code § 29.1).
2.48.020 Superintendent.
The position of superintendent of the water department is created. The water department shall be under the general control and supervision of the city manager, and the city manager is hereby appointed to and designated as the superintendent of the water department. (Ord. 657 § (f), 1980: Prior code § 29.2).
2.48.040 Charges for water used by city departments.
All city or municipal departments shall pay fair and reasonable charges to the municipal water department for water consumed by the city or municipal departments. (Prior code § 29.7).
