2.45.010 Creation of department – Director of community development.

There is hereby created a department of community development for the city, the administrative head of which shall be a director of community development to be appointed by the city council. (Ord. 528, § 1; 1976 Code § 2-9.01).

2.45.020 Duties and powers.

The duties of the director of community development shall be to supervise and coordinate the administration of the following for the city and to perform such other duties as may be assigned to the director of community development by the city council or city manager:

A.    Land use planning and zoning matters;

B.    Building code compliance (including supervision of building inspection personnel); and

C.    Community development matters. (Ord. 528, § 1, Amended by Ord. 698, § 1; 1976 Code § 2-9.02).
