3.28.010 Created.

In accordance with Sections 40100 through 40103, Chapter 16 of the Government Code, a publicity and advertising fund is created. (Ord. 48 § 1, 1963)

3.28.020 Purpose.

All funds appropriated under this chapter shall be expended for promotion by the Chamber of Commerce of the advantages of the City as a business, industrial and residential center and the dissemination of information relative thereto. (Ord. 48 § 2, 1963)

3.28.030 Claims against fund.

All legal claims against the publicity and advertising fund are legal claims against the general fund of the City. (Ord. 48 § 3, 1963)

3.28.040 Allocation.

The City Council may allocate the funds to a suitable nongovernmental organization by written contract to carry out the purposes enumerated in PMC 3.28.020. Any such contract shall provide for termination by either party thereto on 30 days’ written notice to the other party. (Ord. 48 § 4, 1963)
